Pakistan's emerging off-spinner Sajid Khan has had a quiet international career so far as the spinner from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa hasn't been able to put his name amongst top-wicket takers in the past few series'.

While Shaheen Shah Afridi and Hasan Ali dominated the first Test, Khan found his mojo in the ongoing rain-affected Test at Dhaka.

Pakistan declared their innings on day four after putting 300 runs on the board. Sajid ran through the Bangladesh line-up and took his first-ever five-for in the ongoing game. The off-spinner feels that they're in a strong position to win the game.

“We will try to bowl (Bangladesh) out twice. We took the field with an aggressive mindset today and now we find ourselves in a strong position and hoping that we will win this match,” he said.

Khan feels that he gained a lot of confidence after taking four wickets in the Chattogram Test and that seniors like Nauman Ali have been supporting and guiding him throughout.

“Today the pitch was helping a lot and skipper Babar Azam told me to aim for the victory. I gained a lot of confidence after taking four wickets in the Chittagong Test. Nauman Ali is the senior spinner and he keeps sharing tips with me,” he concluded.
