Kane Williamson becomes the first New Zealand batsman to breach 900-points barrier as he moves up one spot to the second-rank in ICC Test Rankings for batsmen.

The 28-year-old Kiwis’ captain scored 386 runs in six innings - highest of the series - at an average of 77.20 including two fifties and one ton. Following the stellar performance, he reached his career-high total of 913 ratings points, just seven behind India skipper Virat Kohli.

The leader of the table, Virat Kohli, managed just 37 runs across two innings in Adelaide and dropped 15 points in the table.
